St Mary’s Chambers Conference and Function Centre under new Management

ISSL sign new lease and give St Mary’s a new lease of life.

St Marys Chambers Conference and Function Centre was recently leased to existing St Mary’s Chambers business ISSL. St Marys Chambers is better known as Rossendale premier venue for functions and conferences and has been host to some of the most notorious celebrities of the “noughties”. Derek Hatton, Paul Burrel, The Hamiltons and Nick Leeson to name but a few, have graced the stage at St Mary’s Chambers as well as former Prime Minister Tony Blair, former Tory leader William Hague and the now Prime Minister David Cameron.

St Mary’s Chambers was renovated in 1999 by B & E Boys and was formerly a Methodist Church. Built in 1856 by local mill owners, the Whitehead brothers, the church was used as an air raid gathering point during World War 2 by Lancashire County Council before being acquire shortly after by the Rossendale Senior Citizens. Unable to afford the upkeep of the building B & E Boys were approached in the late 1980′s before finally agreeing to totally renovation the premises providing office accomodation and the Conference and Function Centre whilst continuing to provide luxurious facilities for Rossendales senior citizens to dance.

ISSL who specialise in the design, build and hosting of web sites and have been a tenant at St Mary’s Chambers offices for a number of years.

B & E Boys have already held a number of successful events at St Mary’s since ISSL took over and have been impressed by ISSL’s determination to bring fresh ideas and improve the services offered at the venue.

St Marys Chambers office suites are home to a number of successful Rossendale based business and organisations including digital creative advertising specialist JGM Agency, facilities management consultancy Thomson FM,  Asahi Kasei Medical Group GMBH, and SWIIS Foster Care.

Soulmate Food wins Made in Rossendale award at the R Awards, St Mary’s Chambers, Rawtenstall.

Kingfisher Business Centre sponsor R Awards at St Mary’s Chambers Rawtenstall.

Soulmate Food based at Hugh Business Park in Waterfoot received recognition last night for their business achievements here in Rossendale. Sponsored by Kingfisher Business Centres in Rawtenstall, the award was shortlisted to three candidates, Thomson FM, CVi Talent and Soulmate Food.

Thomson FM are Facility Managers who have grown the business from a “one man band” to a dedicated but flexible team of 4. From offices based at St Mary’s Chambers, Rawtenstall they tailor make solutions to fit the individuality of their clients with much of their business being “repeat business” demonstrating an ability to satisfy clients again and again.

CVi Talent offers a business website that was set up by a couple and is aimed at people struggling to find work, and represents a new method for employers to view more detailed information about a candidate and a fantastic new way for candidates to showcase their careers and works to employers and agencies.

Soulmate Food was set up from a bedroom 3 years ago after the concept was created after travelling in America at a time when the diet delivery system was just taking off there. Soulmate Food took around 12 months to take off and develop. Soulmate Food delivers your whole day food intake based on your dietary needs and have a celebrity following.

11th Annual Blitz Ball to hit St Marys Chambers Friday Night

Theres still time to take part in the 1940′s Blitz Ball at St Marys Rawtenstall.

St Marys Chambers in Rawtenstall are holding the 11th annual Blitz Ball tomorrow night FRIDAY the 6th MAY.

Tickets have all but sold out but there are a handfull left – Call St Marys for details on 01706 223222.

This years Blitz Ball sees the return of the Swing Commanders and GI Jive. Every year, more people attend and are dressed in 40′s clothing and military uniforms to take part in a 40′s style dance.

Tickets are £16 including supper.
