Construction Developers Alliance Awards Evening

Over 130 guests witnessed a glittering awards evening at St. Mary’s Chambers in Rawtenstall, to celebrate the development and achievement of young people in construction.

The awards, now in it’s third year, are an initiative held by The Construction Development Alliance (CDA). Originally founded as a voluntary group to support and recognise young construction talent throughout the North West, this year the CDA have seen the entries and level of skill reach a remarkable level. Testament to the amount of commitment all nominees have shown, prizes were awarded across a range of 5 distinct categories.

Jake Berry MP presented the awards and afterwards Ted Robbins entertained guests with his usual rapier wit.

Jake Berry commented, “the evening has showcased the talent that north-west colleges and businesses produce, providing fresh skills from ambitious young people benefits all concerned.”

Such events are a valuable part of young peoples development as they start their careers. Recognising such skills in a sector that has seen first hand the effects of the economic down-turn, the CDA and it’s partners have worked tirelessly to promote the young talent the North West is developing.

B & E Boys were thanked for their continued support of the awards and the support for young achievers in the industry. The CDA encourages companys to work together and this is a philosophy B & E Boys supports and works with.

St Marys Chambers is an iconic building in Rawtenstall which B & E Boys restored to create a purpose built conference and banqueting suite, together with modern office facilities for leading local businesses.
