B & E Boys

have been awarded a £250,000 project for the National Trust.

B&E Boys has won the la

test £250,000 project to sympathetically refurbish the building and external areas. The property has several features which will be carefully preserved and restored,including a niche buffet containing some rare wall paintings.

The project also contains

many specialist trades and finishes including reed plasterwork.

The restoration works will involve working in close liason with Archeologists,and involves trades such as window restoration, cobbled setts, brickwork restoration, lime pointing, goat hair and lime plastering, lath and plaster ceilings, timber preservation,

Farrow and Ball decoration, slating,

and other repairs to improve the quality of the services,internally.
B & E Boys have a wealth of experience restoring historic buildings

including Grade 1 and Grade 2 properties. As well as restoring their own properties B & E Boys have been fortunate enough to work on Grade 1 listed building Townley Hall in Burnley.

Other landmark properties include St Mary’s Chambers in Rawtenstall, the Grade 2 listed, former Methodist Church and Sunday School.
