Kingfisher Centres Rawtenstall join forces with valley agencies to inspire Rossendale people.

The free event, to take place on 11th July, 11am-6pm at The purchase viagra online” target=”_blank”>Kingfisher Business Centre and Old Fire Station both on Burnley Road Rawtenstall will allow visitors to talk to a wide range of businesses that are based or work in the borough. The aim is to inspire people to look into the vast array of careers and possibilities. Then local support agencies and educational centres will be on hand to help people achieve their goals, by accessing training, funding or additional support that may be needed.

Peter Boys Director at Kingfisher Business Centres said ‘Kingfisher Rawtentsall has over 30 businesses based there, each utilising numerous skills. This is a chance for people of all ages to see that there are lots of career opportunities right here in Rossendale, with the organisations on hand to show them how to work towards them.’

We have so many different job prospects in Rossendale, from the creative, statutory services, the third sector to industry. In addition to large companies such as supermarkets and demolition companies, smaller more specialist organisations will have their staff on hand with advice on how they got into their specific careers.

Esther Kerry-Farrington, Producer at The Horse and Bamboo Theatre in Waterfoot, one of the organisations attending on the day commented that ‘I got into my line of work in a slightly unorthodox way but now believe I’m working in a sector which is only set to grow and develop over the years. We have been based in the Rossendale valley for years and although many people know we

are here, many do not know what we do or what opportunities we present for local people. Events like this are a great opportunity to find out more.’

Anyone can just turn up on the day, from school leavers, those within work looking for a new careers and those seeking employment.
